Fjallapower is the work of engineer Skúli Jóhannsson — a body of technical analysis on Iceland's power system, built up over years and published independently through Annað veldi.
Iceland's energy debate is often long on opinion and short on numbers. Fjallapower exists to change that — to set out, clearly and quantitatively, why the country needs new hydropower capacity and how its rivers can provide it.
The reports are published openly so that policymakers, industry, and the public can read the argument, check the reasoning, and reach their own conclusions. This site brings that work together in one place.
